Oaxacan Mai Tai

 

Classic Mai Tais deliver big flavor - but this version with mezcal and Oaxacan sugarcane rum is on another level of funky deliciousness.

Ingredients:

  • ¾ oz Almond Orgeat Syrup
  • 1 oz mezcal
  • 1 oz Oaxacan rum (Paranubes Aguardiente de Caña recommended)
  • 1 oz lime juice
  • ½ oz orange liqueur

    Instructions:

    • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
    • Add ice and shake hard for 10 seconds
    • Strain into a chilled rocks glass
    • garnish with mint and a brandied cherry
