This cocktail from Matt Belanger takes a delicious duo of rum and banana and lends it some additional warmth and complexity thanks to aged brandy and Demerara Gum Syrup

Ingredients:

  • ½ oz Demerara Gum Syrup
  • ¾ oz gold rum
  • ¾ oz brandy
  • ¼ oz rhum agricole
  • ½ oz banana liqueur (Tempus Fugit recommended)
  • ¾ oz fresh lime juice

Instructions:

  • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
  • Add ice and shake hard for 10 seconds
  • Strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with crushed ice

Glass:

Garnish:

  • dehydrated blood orange and fresh mint
