Cocktail by @elusivemoosedrinks. This Negroni riff was designed with cold weather in mind. It marries together some of my favorite winter flavors - warm spice, rich fruit, citrus, and herbs. It’s the perfect aperitif to enjoy with a light snowfall or, if you live somewhere like Texas, to transport you to your own, personal winter wonderland. It is also great for batching ahead of time
Ingredients:
- 1 barspoon Blood Orange Cordial
- 1 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Amaro Montenegro
- 1 oz chai tea infused ruby port
- 3 dashes aromatic bitters
Instructions:
- For infusion, 1 tsp chai tea in 6 oz of ruby port for 20 minutes
- Stir all ingredients with ice
- Strain into a chilled rocks glass over fresh ice
