Happy Bastard

A much more lighthearted riff on the classic tropical cocktail "Suffering Bastard" from bartender Fanny Chu.

Ingredients:

  • ½ oz Fiery Ginger Syrup
  • ½ oz lemon juice
  • 1 oz gin
  • ¾ oz brandy
  • ¼ oz elderflower liqueur
  • 1 ½ oz Fever-Tree Cucumber Tonic

Instructions:

  • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
  • Add ice and shake hard for 20 seconds
  • Strain into a highball glass with fresh ice
  • Top with Fever-Tree Cucumber Tonic
