Weathered Axe

A drink made for late summer and fall. Overproof bourbon, Fiery Ginger Syrup and the herbal sweet kiss of aromatized wine. From Scofflaw in Chicago.

Ingredients:

• ½ oz Fiery Ginger Syrup
• 1 ½ oz overproof bourbon
  
• ½ oz orange liqueur
  
• ½ oz Cocchi Americano
  
• ¾ oz lemon juice

Instructions:

• Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
• Add ice and shake hard for 10 seconds
• Strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with ice
