The Brooklyn Burro, created by Ivy Mix and published in her book Spirits of Latin America, is a wonderful, refreshing cocktail perfect for the spring and summer. If the Moscow Mule were born on a tropical island, it would probably look a lot like this!
Ingredients:

½ oz Fiery Ginger Syrup
- 2 oz white rum
- ½ oz lime juice
- ½ oz pineapple juice
- 2 dashes aromatic bitters
- 1 oz club soda
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients except soda water to a cocktail shaker
- Add ice and shake hard for 10 seconds
- Strain into a glass filled with ice
- Top with club soda
