French Pearl

Fresh, delicious, and complex, this strong Southside riff is an interesting one to try with different gins. From Aubrey Saunders at the Pegu Club.

Ingredients:

  • ¾ oz Classic Gum Syrup
  • 2 oz gin
  • ¼ oz absinthe

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice

  • 5 mint leaves

Instructions:

  • Muddle mint and syrup in a cocktail tin
  • Add remaining ingredients with ice and shake for 10 seconds
  • Fine strain into a chilled coupe

Glass:

  • coupe

  • fresh mint, lime wheel
