This unique and exclusive syrup was borne from a limited venture between two passionate Texas craft producers.
We rested our Sugarcane Kola Syrup for 100 days in spent Garrison Brothers American oak barrels. The resulting syrup combines spices such as kola nut, vanilla, and coffee with subtle notes of natural caramel, cinnamon and honey from the barrel.

The African C. acuminata tree produces these caffeine filled seeds. Their initial bitterness gives way to an earthy sweetness. For the Igbo and other West Africans, kola nuts symbolize good-will, love and respect for elders.
Each flower is only open one day a year, and it must be hand-pollinated. Once mature, beans are cut, blanched, dried in the sun and then wrapped in blankets to sweat overnight. Dying and sweating is repeated over weeks until the beans are fully cured. Theft is common, so each pod is actually branded by its grower.
This golf ball sized orange is prized for its peppery orange aroma. Native to Liguria in Western Italy, it's a popular ingredient in the region's local amari.
A medium roast delivers citrus, caramel and chocolate notes which make it a perfect pair for kola's citrus-spice profile.
Not another generic cola. Rich spices, zesty citrus and pure cane sugar combine for a symphony of flavor.
