Scorpion Reef

This was inspired - according to drink creator Marshall Davis - by a smoked pineapple flan dessert! Smoky, creamy and tropical, the Scorpion Reef is a stellar nouveau tiki cocktail.

Ingredients:

  • ¾ oz Almond Orgeat Syrup
  • 1 oz mezcal
  • 1 oz aged rum
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • ¾ oz lemon juice
  • 2 dashes chocolate bitters
  • 5 dashes aromatic bitters

Instructions:

  • Add all ingredients except aromatic bitters to a glass filled with crushed ice
  • Swizzle to chill, then add more crushed ice
  • Dash aromatic bitters on top and garnish
