This is a complex orgeat whose full almond character imbues cocktails with divine flavor and aroma.

We start with whole almonds that are blanched and roasted to bring out deep toasted nut flavors. Also in the mix: cane sugar, orange blossom and a touch of bitter almond oil for a distinct marzipan note. Use this orgeat to shake up a world-class Mai Tai!

Full disclosure, I hadn't had a Mai Tai cocktail in decades. I associated it with overly sweet, soda pop waste of calories. Then, we were recently vacationing in Hawai'i and, caught up in the tropical vibe, ordered a Mai Tai at a nice establishment. The description of the drink mentioned Almond Orgeat Syrup, so as luck would have it, we discovered Liber & Co makes the best of that item. We ordered on line and the bottle was delivered to us quickly, and we are now making a Mai Tai as our evening Happy Hour beverage.

The title says it all! I'm just an old wannabe mixologist, but my family has never complained when I make cocktails using Liber syrups.

The orgeat arrived on time and tastes delicious.
