Kentucky Mai Tai
From Chloe Frechette's Easy Tiki comes this bourbon-based Mai Tai variant. Almond orgeat pulls together the bitter amaro and aromatic peach flavors.
Ingredients:
- ½ oz Almond Orgeat Syrup
- 1 oz bourbon whiskey
- 1 oz mezcal
- ½ oz Cynar
- ½ oz peach liqueur
- ½ oz lemon juice
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
- Add ice and shake hard for 10 seconds
- Strain into a chilled rocks glass
- Garnish with mint and a brandied cherry
