Honey Cakes

During the Liberalia festival in Ancient Rome, honey-infused cakes were a staple of the celebration. There is no way we could have celebrated Liberalia properly without creating a cocktail inspired by this iconic treat. 

Ingredients:

• ¼ oz Almond Orgeat Syrup
• 2 oz brandy
• ½ oz honey syrup (2:1)
• ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
  

Instructions:

• Add all ingredients to a shaker
• Add ice and shake for 10 seconds
• Strain into a Nick & Nora glass with a sugared rim
