This mezcal Margarita riff is complex and refreshing! The amaro pairs perfectly with the earthy, smoky notes from the mezcal, brightened by fresh lime and rich, velvety Pineapple Gum Syrup. The subtle kick of cayenne pepper is perfectly balancing and makes this cocktail incredibly craveable!
Ingredients:
- ¾ oz Pineapple Gum Syrup
- 1 ½ oz mezcal
- ¼ oz amaro
- ¾ oz fresh lime juice
- Dash cayenne pepper
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a shaker
- Add ice and shake for 10 seconds
- Strain in a coupe and garnish with a citrus wheel
