Dry Season

This original cocktail was crafted by Dustin Popp (@elusivemoosedrinks) for our July Summer Awards in 2021, taking home our 3rd place prize.

This recipe reads about as well as any cocktail we have encountered-- our mouths were literally watering as we went from ingredient to ingredient. It's incredibly inventive while still maintaining universal appeal, and the beautifully lit photo captures the cocktail's magnetic color perfectly.


  • ¾ oz Pineapple Gum Syrup
  • 1 ½ oz Macchu pisco
  • ½ oz strawberry-infused Del Maguey Vida mezcal
  • ¾ oz fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz Clement Mahina coconut liqueur
  • 2 dashes vanilla-infused Agnostura bitters
  • Frozen coconut green tea (for shaking)


  • Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker
  • Add cubes of frozen coconut green tea and shake for 8-10 seconds
  • Double strain into a chilled rocks glass over the strawberry coconut water ice
