Recipe by @anatomyofdrink, this combination captures the dark and intense notes of Jamaican rum and spicy rye whiskey. Accents of cinnamon, allspice, and falernum add dry island spices, while chocolate bitters pull the flavors into a satisfying finish. It is an aromatic drink designed for the rest of your evening.

Ingredients:

  • 1 barspoon Cinnamon Syrup
  • 1 oz overproof Jamaican rum
  • 1 oz rye whiskey
  • 1 barspoon allspice dram
  • 1 barspoon falernum
  • 4 dashes chocolate bitters

Instructions:

  • Add all ingredients to a shaker
  • Add ice and shake for 10 seconds
  • Strain in rocks glass with large form ice cube
