Non-Alc The Rise of Mithridates

"The drink is a nod to the stunning history of King Mithridates VI. The ingredients of Fig, Apple, Carrot, Lemon (Citron), and Sage would have all been found in Anatolia where he lived and are native to that region. It’s very possible King Mithridates consumed this very same drink over two thousand years ago!"  This cocktail was the runner up in our 2025 Liber Games in the Best Non-Alc Cocktail category.

Ingredients:

• 1 oz Caramelized Fig Syrup
• 1 ½ oz fresh apple juice
• ½ oz fresh carrot juice
• 1 oz fresh lemon juice
• 1 pinch dried rubbed sage
• 2 oz club soda

Instructions:

• Add all minus club soda to a shaker tin
• Add ice and shake for 10 seconds
• Double Strain into a chilled glass with large ice
• Top with club soda and garnish
