Caramelized Fig Syrup

  • Made from a unique blend of California Black Mission and Calimyrna varieties, this Caramelized Fig Syrup is redolent of sugared dark fruit and subtle spice. Expect a deep, concentrated fig flavor that naturally complements barrel aged spirits like whiskey and rum.
  • Filtered water, fig concentrate, cane sugar, gum arabic, natural fig flavor, benzoic acid

Great syrup for cocktails.

I love the Caramelized Fig Syrup. It has a wonderful rich fig taste. I ordered a fig manhattan at a restaurant near me and decided I needed to make it at home. I use about 2.5 ounces of Rye Whiskey, 1 ounce of sweet vermouth, 1/2 ounce of the Carmalized fig syrup and a few dashes of orange and fig bitters from Crude. I garnish with a cherry and a mission fig. Simply perfect!

Go-To Syrup for Dark Spirits

This is one of my go-to syrups, particularly to mix with dark spirits. It adds a deep note and a complexity to Manhattans and Sours. The “Fig Jam” recipe on the Liber site is particularly good. Trying it out next in a Sidecar and Negroni. I always have a few extra bottles on hand.

An amazing flavored syrup

I've just made the first two (by alphabet) recipes on the website, Bay of Figs and Caramelized Fig Sour and am very impressed how the addition of the fig flavor enhances these drinks.

Great for the winter cocktail menu

Sweet, dense, and rich. We use it in manhattans and mocktails.
