Carnival Time
Created by Rhiannon Enlil, this festive drink captures the vibrant and colorful energy of a Green Chartreuse and red wine combination. The heat of ginger and the grassy funk of cachaça form a bold, dynamic backbone, while a sharp hit of fresh lime keeps the it crisp.
Ingredients:
- ½ oz Fiery Ginger Syrup
- 1 ½ oz cachaça
- ½ oz
Green Chartreuse
- ½ oz red wine to float (Tempranillo or medium-to-full bodied)
- ¼ oz simple syrup
- 1 oz fresh lime juice
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients, except red wine, to a shaker
- Add ice and shake for 10-15 seconds
- Strain in a glass filled with crushed ice
- Float red wine on the surface
