Mojito
No one can resist Havana's famous highball. Fresh mint and lime, shaken up hard with gum syrup and light rum.
Our instructions forego muddling, as we've found a hard shake with a few cubes suffices to extract the mint flavor, while speeding up the drink making process.
Ingredients:
- ½ oz Classic Gum Syrup
- 2 oz light rum
- ¾ oz lime juice
- 1-2 oz soda water
- 6-8 mint leaves
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients, except soda, to a cocktail shaker
- Add 2-3 cubes of ice and shake hard for 10 seconds
- Strain into a chilled highball glass
- Top with soda and garnish with a mint sprig
