New York Sour


A red wine float lends the classic whiskey sour a fruity, decadent taste.

Ingredients:

  • ½ oz Classic Gum Syrup
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 2 oz whiskey
  • egg white (optional)
  • 1 oz dry red wine

Instructions:

  • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
  • Add ice and shake for 10 seconds
  • Strain over ice into a rocks glass
  • Float the red wine on top

Glass:

  • rocks

Garnish:

  • lemon twist (optional)
