This recipe hails from Suzan Eraslan (@suzan_eraslan), and was included in her wonderful non-alcoholic newsletter 5PM Eternal. Her drink experiments and recipe process are fascinating and very refined. This one is no exception—we love what she did here.

Warm flavors in a frozen drink are especially fun, and you can enjoy this in the winter just as well as in the summer. Don’t forget to use ALL fresh ingredients!

Ingredients:

  • ½ oz Caramelized Fig Syrup
  • ½ oz Almond Orgeat Syrup
  • 1 oz Ritual Zero Proof Rum Alternative
  • 1 oz Spiritless Kentucky 74
  • ½ oz fresh lemon juice
  • 4 oz fresh orange juice
  • 2 whole cloves
  • dash of ground allspice

Instructions:

  • Pour the syrups, juices, and non-alcoholic spirits into the pitcher of a blender
  • Add 2 cloves and ground allspice
  • Add about a cup of ice cubes (6-8 cubes)
  • Blend for 5-10 seconds on high, until drink is frothy but there are still large ice chunks left
  • Pour into highball or festive goblet and serve with a straw
