A perfect example of the kind of surprising cocktail you can expect from the geniuses at Death & Co. Jillian Vose showcases how disparate rich, dark flavors can come together into a well-balanced sipper.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ oz Demerara Gum Syrup
  • 1 oz brandy
  • ½ oz dark rum
  • ¾ oz sherry (amontillado recommended)
  • ½ oz amaro (Nonino recommended)
  • 2 dashes aromatic bitters

    Instructions:

    • Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice
    • Stir 20 seconds and strain into a coupe
