Isle of Martinique
Consider the daiquiri. Now imagine that its sugar component was a mix of honey and toasted almond. Enter the Isle of Martinique cocktail. This is a showcase drink for rhum agricole.
Ingredients:
- ¼ oz Almond Orgeat Syrup
- 2 oz rhum agricole (amber recommended)
- ¾ oz lemon juice
- ½ oz honey syrup (2:1 honey:water)
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
- Add ice and shake hard for 10 seconds
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass
- Garnish with a kaffir lime leaf
