➑ Scorpion
Trader Vic invented the Scorpion in the 1940s. Originally intended to be shared by many people, by the 1970s he had reduced it to a single-serving cocktail, which is what we're making today. You can blend this cocktail in a blender, but we prefer ours over crushed ice.

Ingredients:
- ½ oz Almond Orgeat Syrup
- 1 ½ oz gold rum
- ¾ oz cognac
- 2 oz orange juice
- 1 oz fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
- In a shaker filled with ice, combine the orgeat, gold rum, cognac, orange juice, and lemon juice.
- Shake well and strain into a hurricane glass filled with crushed ice.
- Garnish with a dehydrated orange wheel and mint sprig.
