Akasaka Sour
Created by our friend Derek from Make and Drink, this recipe is inspired by Trader Vic's classic sour while shifting the geographic focus to a district in Tokyo called Akasaka. With a unique addition of yuzu, it offers a deeply fragrant, layered alternative to standard citrus recipes.
Ingredients:
- ½ oz Japanese Yuzu Syrup
- 1 barspoon Almond Orgeat Syrup
- 2 oz gin
- 1 oz orange juice
- ½ oz fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a shaker
- Add ice and shake for 10-15 seconds
- Pour over a glass with crushed ice
