Drops of Juniper

This recipe was made by @heavymuddle from Austin, Texas. In addition to a split gin base, a small measure of Batavia Arrack adds a little funk to the party alongside the tiki staples of lime, grapefruit, maraschino, and passionfruit. The bitters add some nice spice notes to help tie everything together.

Ingredients:

  • ½ oz Tropical Passionfruit Syrup
  • 1 oz dry gin
  • ½ oz gin
  • ½ batavia arrack
  • ¾ oz grapefruit
  • ½ oz lime
  • ½ oz maraschino liqueur
  • 2 dashes agnostura bitters
  • 2 dashes peychaud bitters

Instructions:

  • Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice and shake until chilled
  • Strain over pebble ice and top with more pebble ice
  • Grate cinnamon over top.

Glass:

  • rocks

Garnish:

  • cinnamon
