Le Toast Légendaire
From Shaker of Spirits, a sparkling riff on the Sazerac that swaps tradition for elegance. Rye, Herbsaint, and Peychaud's bitters meet vanilla sweetness, crowned with Champagne for an aromatic, effervescent lift.
Ingredients:
- ½ oz Madagascar Vanilla Syrup
- ½ oz rye whiskey
- ¼ oz Herbsaint
- ½ oz Peychaud’s bitters
- 4 oz sparkling wine
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients minus sparkling wine to a mixing glass
- Add ice and stir until chilled
- Strain into a chilled glass and top with sparkling wine
