Smokin' Hot Ginger

This recipe came straight to us via an email from Brian S. It pulls no punches, with the Fiery Ginger Syrup and lemon juice balancing out the heat and smokiness from the mezcal and chile liqueur. For those that can handle the heat, this is a delicious cocktail.


  • ½ oz Fiery Ginger Syrup
  • ½ oz blanco tequila
  • ½ oz mezcal
  • ¾ oz Ancho Reyes liqueur
  • ¾ oz lemon juice
  • 3 dashes mole bitters


  • Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
  • Add ice and shake hard for 15 seconds
  • Strain into a coupe and sprinkle  Tajín on top
