Strange Weaver
The Strange Weaver cocktail proves you can smash a steakhouse classic - the negroni - into tiki form! The trick is splitting out the base spirit into both gin and rum, and bringing a little almond orgeat into the mix. From Dominic Alling at Beretta in SF.
Ingredients:
- ½ oz Almond Orgeat Syrup
- 1 oz aged rum
- 1 oz gin

¾ oz sweet vermouth
- ½ oz Campari
- ¼ oz fresh lemon juice
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker
- Add ice and shake hard for 10 seconds
- Strain into a chilled rocks glass
- Garnish with grated orange zest
