½ oz Demerara Gum Syrup
- 1 ½ oz cognac
½ oz chicory coffee-infused rye whiskey*
- ¼ oz Benedictine
- 2 dashes Creole bitters
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- Add all ingredient to a mixing glass filled with ice
- Stir for 20 seconds and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice
* For chicory coffee-infused rye whiskey, steep 1/2 oz of ground chicory coffee in 5 oz of rye whiskey for 8 hours at room temperature, shaking occasionally. Double strain through a mesh strainer lined with cheesecloth.
