Signal Flare

Earning 4th place in the 2026 Liber Games, this drink created by Blake Hennequin is a beautiful drink designed to mimic the intensity of its namesake. This sour leads with sweet ginger heat and smoky mezcal and finishes with the botanical and bitter notes of Aperol.

Ingredients:

• ½ oz Fiery Ginger Syrup
• 2 oz mezcal 
• ½ oz Aperol
• ¾ oz fresh lime juice

Instructions:

• Add all ingredients except Aperol to shaker
• Add ice and shake for 10-15 seconds
• Strain in a glass with a large format ice cube
• Top with Aperol
