Our Texas Grapefruit Shrub is a lively combination of Rio Red Texas grapefruit, cane sugar and champagne vinegar. The shrub is mildly sweet, but its hallmark is the champagne vinegar’s punchy and unique acidity. The strong and zesty grapefruit flavor is backed by a subtle allspice note.

Shrubs are antiquated methods of fruit preservation that offer lively combinations of intense fruit essence and tart acidity. In drinks they work much like citrus by providing a tart and slightly sweet component. For our shrubs, we use a cold-press technique to maintain the bright, zesty flavors that are damaged by heat-based extractions.
The good and bad news, I loved it in a Grapefruit Negroni, was good in a La Joya, did not like in a El Floridita look forward to trying in a Paloma.
This shrub is very refreshing, not too sweet, and with the distinct flavor of grapefruit oil in addition to the juice. Great with tequila! Elevate your palomas. Highly recommend.
I have tried many brands, at least six, and this one has no weird after taste and tastes like it was made by a chef. I am a loyal buyer and only now buying from them directly. Great product and price.
Love these syrups! They all taste so fresh and mix well with everything!
Liber & Co. makes classic and versatile syrups that take the headache out of classic ingredients without being overly sweet or other pitfalls one might find in big box versions (read Rose's Grenadine). Not spending an hour making Orgeat or Grenadine with real pomegranate, or Raspberry syrup is such a huge help. And it lasts more than the 1 week you'd get out of a home-made ingredient. I can't recommend them enough
