Toasted Coconut Syrup

  • A coconut syrup for all seasons and all spirits!

We knew this needed to excel in summery tropical cocktails, but we also wanted a coconut syrup with expanded utility and a unique flavor profile.

Our secret to achieving both? Our base of custom toasted coconut meat.

The medium toast level lends a light nuttiness and a deeper flavor not found in plain coconut - which helps it pair spectacularly with barrel-aged spirits. The combination of toasted coconut, cane sugar, cold-pressed lemon oil and a pinch of salt makes this syrup's luscious flavor distinctly delicious.

- Harvesting coconuts requires precision -

On the Luzon Island of the Philippines, farmers use a long hooked stick to cut down bunches of ripe coconut while leaving the immature ones to continue growing. These Laguna Tall variety of coconut are certified organic and fair trade.

Toasted Coconut Perfection

Just like all of Liber’s syrups, the toasted coconut is smooth, not too sweet, and delicious. It goes PERFECTLY in a pain killer. This will be a permanent fixture in my home bar.

So Much Fun

These syrups are so much fun. Toasted Coconut is delicious and I've been having fun experimenting with it. I had the toasted coconut and passionfruit mojito today, since it was a beautiful day to enjoy an outdoor cocktail.

Superb flavor - SHAKE well!

As always, amazing flavor and texture from this Liber & Co product. It adds a wonderful creaminess similar to the orgeat syrup. My only frustration comes from the separation that occurs because of the coconut. Having worked with coconut plenty of times before, I honestly wasn't surprised. However, even at room temperature when I first opened the bottle, the product was SO gunked up that I had to put it in the microwave repeatedly just to soften it up so I could shake it up and it would finally mix. This definitely has been the necessary step to ensure that everything gets evenly mixed prior to using it every time. Not a deal breaker for me personally, but its something that has put an extra step in my cocktail making process. Is the extra work worth it to get the lovely ingredient into your drink? Yes, 100%!
